Yes — same category of procedure. GentShot is GentsMed's brand name for penile platelet-rich plasma (PRP), also referred to clinically as intracavernosal PRP. Other clinics market the same procedure under the "P-Shot" or "Priapus Shot" trade name. We use the GentShot name because every provider in our network performs it under a consistent, network-wide PRP preparation and injection standard — not a free-form interpretation.

The honest answer: the evidence is genuinely mixed. Small observational studies and case series report patient-reported improvements in firmness and sensitivity. GentShot is a one-time procedure (with periodic repeats) aimed at improving baseline tissue function so erections work better overall. They are complementary, not competing. Many men do well combining a regular PDE5 protocol with periodic GentShot maintenance, and both classes target different aspects of the problem.
