Standard pathway

Training program.

A standardized, end-to-end procedural training program for physicians new to the field. Didactics, cadaver labs, supervised live observation, and a written exam. Successful completion earns a Urosculpt™ or GentsMed™ credential.

The curriculum

  1. Module 1

    Didactic instruction

    Foundational science, anatomy, patient selection, and complication management — taught by physicians who actively practice these procedures.

  2. Module 2

    Cadaver lab

    Hands-on injection technique, tissue planes, and field-block anesthesia on fresh cadaveric tissue under faculty supervision.

  3. Module 3

    Live observation

    Observe procedures performed in a live clinical setting before performing them on your own patients.

  4. Module 4

    Written exam

    Demonstrate competence on anatomy, indications, contraindications, dosing, and complication response. Must pass to receive certification.

Who the training is for

  • Board-certified physicians (MD / DO)in any specialty — anesthesiology, urology, plastic surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, family medicine.
  • No prior procedural experience required — the program is built to take a board-certified physician from zero to safely performing these procedures.
  • Already practicing? Skip the course and take the challenge exam instead.
